Tees Valley Getting Help

All sessions are For Parents/Carers who are looking for information, understanding and support and have a child/young person under the age of 18 years with traits, undergoing, or diagnosed with autism, ADHD, FASD or sensory processing differences, and live in Tees Valley. There is the opportunity to ask questions and share tips and ideas etc.

Impacts of head injuries/trauma and neurological conditions, thinking about how these can present.

Could any of these increase the chances of being neurodivergent? Is there a relationship between brain development and ASD/ADHD?

Differential considerations and comorbidities. The importance of relationships – bonding and attachments (include any models that may be used). Consider how additional needs may impact e.g., communication barriers, parents who are neurodiverse etc. How could these impact later in life?
